Phoenix bit back a cry as his back hit the car, and he reached up with his still bound hands to pull at Tyki’s wrist. If he were more certain that the akuma wouldn’t attack him despite Tyki’s warnings, Phoenix would have put up much more of a fight; for now, he’d have to hope that his reaction was believable enough.
