Tyki saw the dog and hung back, frowning. He did see Edgeworth, and could tell that he was alive, but asleep. But he couldn't tell much beyond that other than the fact that the bedroom was very dark

"Is that dog likely to bite me if I go pick Edgeworth up?" he asked in a low voice. "We can put him in the back of the car and take him to the hospital in Gaia."
