Had Phoenix decided to ask his question, Zelos most likely would have explained that no, he had not, but he wouldn't be opposed to the idea. They were friends, right? Was it really such a big deal? His slightly confused look would have to suffice as a response.

He chuckled slightly at Phoenix's statement concerning his hair. "And what, you just give them a little extra help?" Maybe if he hadn't known that Lloyd's hair was natural spiky and tended to stand up on its own, he might have been a tad more disbelieving. But as it was, he really couldn't say he was surprised.
