This has to be the single strangest junk e-mail I've ever gotten.

Of the matter of snow here. Both of us have grasped
The mortal architect had brought to life,
My keyhole blows a gale
XV. The International Circumpolar Stations: The Greely Expedition
And beyond, the same sound of bees
A rabbit carcass in its stiffened fur.
And he is swathed in ever-petrified dread;

It's almost poetic.

In related news, I'm finally done catching up with all of my e-mails and voice mails. I never thought it'd take so long to get through two months of backlog, but I guess you don't realize how much stuff you get until it all piles up. At least I don't have to worry about it anymore...

Sort of. They're computer programs capable of independent logical thought.

They assist with procedural decisions during a trial. Sustaining or overruling objections, that kind of thing. The final decision is with the judge, but they usually follow whatever the majority from the AI panel is.

It seems that way to me. I've never been on the witness stand, though.

It's not a problem.

Would you like a reference text on the subject?

[identity profile] honestcop.livejournal.com 2009-10-02 06:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Can I send a file over this thing? I've never tried anything like that before.

Well, can't hurt to try.

Probably.

OOC: I dunno, will this work? Togusa's trying to send a small test file. It's the first several paragraphs of an essay by a man called Patrick Sylvestre, entitled "Castro and Guevara."

underlines are hyperlinks! B|b

That didn't work.

Try clicking here for a test file.

If that works and your computer can read it, this is the textbook.

((OOC: gdit what good are you :P Okay, fine, *handwaves it* XD

It's an undergraduate textbook on the Japanese legal system. Togusa stripped it down to plain text, so Feenie's computer should be able to open it.))

No problem.

((OOC: I think so, but I'm biased. Also, I have a "my god this plot is complicated" tag on his journal for a reason. >_>))
