I've been having some trouble with my internet service provider. Seems they decided last weekend was a good time to disconnect me, so until this gets cleared up, I probably won't be around much.

I haven't missed anything important, have I? Did anyone figure out why we were all tied up?

It wasn't the first time someone had tried to reach him since he'd left and Phoenix was sure it wouldn't be the last. Like all the other times, he ignored the irritating chirp of the Steel Samurai theme song (he still wasn't sure why he hadn't changed it, yet) and left his cell phone in his pocket, content to watch the sun sink into the ocean from the grassy plateau a few yards away from his hotel. If it was an emergency, he knew they would leave a voice mail.

No more than two minutes later, though, the phone twittered to life again, and with a sigh tinged with mounting annoyance, he fished the phone out of his pocket and peered at the number, frowning. Upon recognition, annoyance quickly turned to apprehension; Phoenix knew that number wouldn't be showing up unless something was wrong.

He drew in a breath and pressed the 'talk' button, resting the phone against his ear. "Hello?"

(( OOC: I believe this counts as failing at hiatus. Wouldn't you say, Bourne-mun? XD; ))

Hey, uh... I'm going out of town for a few days. I just wanted to give you guys a heads up so you don't wonder where I disappeared to.

Buuhh... The last few weeks have been murder on me and I haven't had much free time to do anything, and I'm so tired during the free time I do get that I just... don't want to do anything but putz around on the internet. @_@

So I just want to apologize to the people I've left hanging. I've averaged about one tag per thread per day, and I don't see that changing just yet. Sorry. ;-;

So yeah, this is a semi-hiatus. Still around for mod things and whatnot, but I can't tag much right now.

Something's come up at home, so the threads I have going right now have to be put on hold for a bit. Hopefully for no more than a few days, but I figured I'd give a heads up just in case it's longer. I'm enjoying the threads Phoenix has going in his last community post, so I really hope nobody minds the wait. I know I've been pretty slow as it is, but I'd really love to continue those...

That's it. Not really a hiatus (though, technically, I never came back from the, uh, 'last one,' lol), just a heads up.

Going on hiatus for a bit. Like, a real one. ...well, sort of. I'll be using the time to catch up on backdated RLs, but I won't be watching for anything new. I haven't been able to keep up lately, so I really have no idea what's going on with the community. x.X

I didn't want to spam the OOC community. Just saying I'm going on hiatus. Yeah, again. I'm just not feeling it lately. Sorry, you guys. :(

I'll try to wrap up the RLs I have going, but I can't make any promises. I might be around with Larry for a bit, as I've been feeling him a little more than Phoenix, but that's not a guarantee, either.

One thing: all of my Phoenix comments (and Larry's, as well, to a degree) have felt extremely off lately, so if anyone can see anything I might be doing wrong, please tell me. It could be the thing that's throwing me off. This isn't a 'tell me I'm awesome' request. I would seriously like some hard feedback, anonymous or otherwise.

I'd really appreciate it. ♥

Yeah, more OOC spamming. I'm restless, can you tell? I'll be coming back from hiatus this Sunday, finally. ~~Please forgive me when it comes time to re-acclimate myself to the community. I feel like I've lost both of their voices, so there's probably going to be some major suck going on for a while. x.X~~
