When the pressure's on...

The community's been in chaos lately and it's difficult to keep up with current events. The big one, of course, is the death of the god... Kvasir, I think his name was. I'm not clear on all the details; it seems like everything happened so fast and I wouldn't be surprised to find out I'm not the only one who's confused. Everyone who knew him has my condolences, though. I never talked to him personally, but I only ever heard good things since he arrived. ...I've heard his murderer is suffering at the hands of the gods.

Right now, my main concern is Genie and that's what I'm going to concentrate on, otherwise I'll just give myself a bigger headache. Efforts are being made to help him and bring Mirage to justice. Personally, I'd like to see her on trial, but I don't know that there's any sentence befitting a, er..magical being such as herself. I doubt prison walls would hold her.

At any rate, my job is finding the truth, not writing sentences, and I'm pretty sure what really happened became crystal clear during Genie's trial. The most I can do now is hope Mirage doesn't cause anymore trouble before she's caught.

In other news... something weird happened when I came into the office this morning: Charley was already watered. I know I didn't do it last night and I seriously doubt Maya came in early because she was nowhere to be found when I got here.

It kind of makes me wonder...
