044 [Locked from Dahlia; Hackable]
Monday, May 19th, 2008 09:32 pmLordly Tailor had a pre-screening for a treasure exhibition this evening. For those of you who don't know, Lordly Tailor is the finest clothing establishment this side of town. ...Or so they say. The exhibit features the sacred treasures of Kurain, so Maya and Pearls were intent on going, despite protests from yours truly. ...Hey, I spent the day cleaning the office. I was exhausted.
It was actually a nice set up. I didn't think the elders of Kurain would have allowed so many supposedly sacred artifacts to leave the village, but there was no amount of space left unfilled with trinkets that, if not "sacred," were at least old enough to be considered antique. ...including a few familiar ones I'd honestly rather forget about.
The most surprising thing of all was Ms. Andrews, though. Apparently she's given up on being a manager (not that I blame her. I'm not sure it would have been possible after what happened last year, anyway); she's working as some sort of event coordinator now. From what I understand, she set the whole exhibit up: planning, security, everything. Pretty impressive, if you ask me. I'm happy for her. She's... really come a long way.
A complimentary dinner was held after the exhibit. The food was good, though I might have indulged a little... I'm more tired than usual. Is it possible to enter a food coma?
...On that note, I think I'll turn in early.
